Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Monroe County Court Docket, a privately operated reference resource. They explain the limits of the information and linked services presented here. Official Michigan court records, court settings, orders, and certified copies remain with the court or clerk that maintains the underlying case.

Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. Monroe County Court Docket is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Information from this resource and linked services may not be used for any FCRA-regulated purpose, including credit, employment, tenant screening, or insurance decisions.

1. What This Website Is

Monroe County Court Docket is a private reference resource. It directs users to official Monroe County and Michigan court channels, including MiCOURT, the court calendar, clerk offices, and court-record request procedures. It is not affiliated with a court, clerk, state agency, or county agency.

2. Informational Use Only

Material here is general information, not an official record, legal advice, or an assurance of a case status. Michigan court records are governed by court rules, including MCR 8.119 and MCR 1.109. Michigan FOIA does not substitute for the court-record access process.

3. Rules for Using This Site

Use this resource lawfully and responsibly. Do not interfere with the service, attempt to bypass access limits, submit malicious code, or use a linked public system in a manner the responsible court or provider prohibits.

  • Do not use content for a prohibited FCRA-regulated purpose.
  • Do not bulk download, scrape, or harvest a linked court search system.
  • Do not present a public result as a certified court record.
  • Do not use a calendar event as proof of an outcome.
  • Do not attempt to access restricted, sealed, juvenile, or protected information.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Neither this resource nor its operators compile consumer reports. Court docket information can be incomplete, delayed, suppressed, sealed, or changed. It is not suitable for a decision governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The footer notice is part of these terms.

5. No Legal Advice

No content forms an attorney-client relationship or answers a case-specific legal question. A licensed lawyer, the responsible court clerk, or the court should be consulted for legal advice, deadlines, or official confirmation.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Courts change calendars, fees, office hours, forms, and online systems. A public register can omit a record or show a field that changes later. Verify a docket entry, scheduled hearing, and record-request procedure directly with the office that holds the case.

  • Linked websites may be unavailable or updated.
  • Public search results may be incomplete or older than the official file.
  • Calendar entries may be continued, moved, or canceled.
  • Fees and contact details may change without notice.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

External links and search widgets are controlled by their operators. Monroe County Court Docket does not control their availability, prices, privacy practices, terms, or results. Review the applicable official or provider notice before submitting information or making a payment.

8. Intellectual Property

The text, graphics, logo, and code used by this private resource or its content partners are protected by applicable law. Do not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from them without permission, except as law permits.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of this resource, a linked service, or reliance on nonofficial information. The responsible court or clerk controls official record access.

10. Indemnification

Users agree to defend and hold the operators harmless from claims, demands, losses, or expenses arising from their misuse of this resource or violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Governing Law
